Parent(s) – Kid(s) Guide Practice

Parent(s) – Kid(s) Guide Practice is a private session designed to help parents actively integrate into their child’s movement process.

The goal is not only to guide the child during the session, but to allow the parent to experience the practice personally — understanding key principles, sensations, and important details that can later be continued at home.

This format builds awareness, confidence, and shared responsibility for the child’s ongoing development.

This practice is especially supportive for:

• Families with children engaged in intensive sports training
• Young athletes who need consistent mobility and balanced conditioning
• Parents who want to actively support their child’s preparation and recovery
• Families managing busy schedules with limited time for multiple weekly sessions

It is also valuable when a child has specific movement limitations, as it allows the parent to deeply understand how exercises are performed and how they feel for the child.

Depending on the family’s needs, the session may include:

• Parent and child practicing together
• Parent participating to understand technique and key cues
• Parent observing while learning how to guide at home
• Video recording key exercises for future reference

When two or three children from the same family participate — often in sports such as dance or other focused disciplines — the session may concentrate on a shared goal (for example, shoulder and neck release or mobility refinement). In these cases, the parent may act as an attentive observer and support system while the instructor leads the children.

This practice empowers parents to:

• Reinforce important elements before competitions
• Support recovery after demanding training sessions
• Maintain continuity of practice at home
• Understand how their child experiences movement

It strengthens not only physical progress, but communication, attentiveness, and shared commitment.

The Experience You May Notice:

-  Greater confidence in supporting your child

- Stronger parent-child connection

- Clear understanding of key exercises

- Sustainable progress beyond the studio

Parent(s) – Kid(s) Guide Practice transforms movement into a shared language — one that continues long after the session ends.
